Another poem I wrote quickly
Again
its nothing spectacular

Drifting in and out of my world
You are plain to see
All the lies have been unfurled
Of all you did to me

Don’t try to make it seem right
I know it’s just a lie
On the surface you may seem bright
But you really want me to die

I have fled from you
Flew from you
Ran from you
Screamed at you
GO AWAY!

Now I’m far from you
Escaped from you
Distanced you
Shunned you

Yes I’ve put you in your place
Hopefully, there never will be
The beginning of a chase

Why did you start?
All the awful things that made it so
Do you care for me or my heart?
Your answer is a silent no

You are the only light that can burn
The darkness away
But a lesson you must learn
Don’t step on those under your sway

I have fled from you
Flew from you
Ran from you
Screamed at you
GO AWAY!

Now I’m far from you
Escaped from you
Distanced you
Shunned you

Yes you’re not getting me here
Make no mistake, you will not take
Those I now hold dear

I am stronger then ever before
I now have a life
Now I am truly able to soar
Above all the strife

And though I am always waiting
Waiting for you to try and pull me in
I can now be plainly stating
I will never leave my new kin
