Ok i went on urban dictionary and the people were giving otherkin shit. What is the true meaning of otherkin you may ask? well i dont have it....
Well i have my theory which will have many major flaws but here goes:
otherkin are souls which are found in human hosts with memorys of thier past life which is not usually human or any form of humaniod, but a being such as a dragon or wolf, but there are many other variations, but there is a key note, otherkin are not furres, i have no true definition of furres but most of the furres i have met are just humans with the imagination of a child with intent of a sexually frustrated adult.
please feel free to criticise my theorys.

Taezil good note but in the wrong section.
My theroy is that the souls travel through the etheric plane and are taken by hosts (human or otherwise) souls are basically memories and the 'will' of a person.

Otherkin are little ants possessing a person for the sake of causing someone to desire to go on picnics. Actually, I knew the definitions for otherkin quite a while ago .. opinions or not. If you do look around on the most serious of sites, rather than furr sites and collect information, filtering out the non-common things in serious otherkin peoples's opinions of it, then mayhaps you can come up with an actual definition for them. ; p Fae is absolutely right though. Most furrs fall under the category of sexually frustrated people with ahuge imagination. Don't get me wrong, so are some dragons .. some in only 1 sense than the other. What seriously seperates the different communities all in all is. Anyway, just went and checked the web out for an answer. Considering how old this topic seems to be, I hope I'm not late XD Here is a site which defines otherkin fairly well. www.embracingmystery.org/articles/otherkin-memory.htmlApparently otherkin is pretty straight forward and an opinion can't really be formed because otherkin is what it actually is by definition. WIkipedia pretty much said the same thing, however added in some stupid crap also having to do with the history of the actual term 'otherkin' from 1980s, up   ;D |
